HK Take Out is a Chinese restaurant located on Erie Boulevard East. They specialize in having a wide array of Chinese-American dishes as well as Hunan, Szechuan, and Cantonese styles of food. Just as its name indicates, HK is popular among Syracuse students for take out and delivery. If ordering on Grubhub, there are coupons for different denominations of money spent—You can get free items such as a two-liter bottle of soda, different flavors of soup, or General Tso’s chicken.

HK has all kinds of Chinese foods, but also many different kinds of fried rice including fried rice with lobster or just white meat chicken, eggplant dishes, string bean dishes, and a Diet Food selection. There is also a Thai Special section of the menu that allows you to order pad Thai and Thai fried rice. Additionally, fried noodles are available as a side. In total, there are around one-hundred and fifty menu items! Dumplings, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon are some of the most popular things to order.
Atmosphere
HK Take Out is in a standalone building and has a good number of tables. There is usually no wait to sit and the staff will bring your food out to you.
